Evening all.

It’s been a long time.  Partly because there hasn’t been a lot to write about but also because we only just got a new laptop when Ryan was using ours at work all the time and my pc at work just hates tumblr for some reason.

So what has been happening.

Leicester still seems to hate us.  Whilst my course for this term and next have been approved I officially have zero bookings so far which is lovely.  I’m going to run an hour workshop at the open day to give people a taster so fingers crossed that brings a few people.

Ryan’s business still seems to be going well which is awesome.  He also just got accepted to do a clinical pilates course through June so hopefully that means when Mel leaves us (*sad face*) he will be able to replace her rather than just losing the clients.

Moving house end of July which still feels SO FAR AWAY!  I actually can’t wait.

Work is really annoying.  It feels like no matter how hard I work it is always going to be an up-hill struggle.  Par example: on Saturday we had an event as part of the Let’s Dance Festival.  “Awesome” I hear you say, “everyone loves dance!”  No.  No they don’t.  Including me.  Don’t get me wrong dance is great but I am yet to find a dancer who does not make my life bloody difficult.  In this case the dancers just decided to tell me nothing.  I am not exaggerating, literally nothing.  We get to the day before and my boss is like “so what do we know about tomorrow” and I’m like “nothing, not even what time they are arriving”.  Now that to her and everyone else makes it sound like I’m not doing my job.  So I then had to produce the 20 odd emails I had sent to various people to prove that I had been chasing them.

I am constantly having to prove that I’m not pissing about and do extra work to make up for the fact that a number of the people are idiots.

I spent an hour the other day writing a How-To guide titled “How to wind cable”.
